What’s checked
Your registration number against the register held by the body you nominated.Listing states
Your profile is either published or it isn’t. There’s no partial state where clients see some of you.Unpublished
Invisible everywhere — the directory, search, matching and your booking link. You can still work on
your profile in the workspace.
Published
Live in the directory, eligible for matching, and bookable if your payouts are set up.
If something doesn’t line up
You’ll get an email — “One thing to sort out on your application” — saying we couldn’t confirm your registration as submitted.Almost always this is a typo or a name that’s since changed, not a problem. Update your details from
the link in the email and it goes back into the queue.
When you’re verified
You’ll get a “You’re live on Open Therapy” email. Three things are worth doing in your first week:1
Set your real availability
So the times clients see are the times you have. See Availability.
2
Add a short reel
Profiles with one get roughly twice the enquiries. See
Build your profile.
3
Check your fees and rebates
Make sure what’s listed is what you charge and what you accept. See
Services and pricing.
